Aiming to attract importers to Brazil, the organization of Movelsul Brasil focus on the international promotion of the event

Brazilian furniture fair invites international buyers to event

In its 20th edition, the Movelsul Brasil furniture fair begins its calendar of international actions to promote the event around the world, in order to capture importers to visit the fair in Brazil and make business with the local industries.

The first action took place in Mexico, at the 34th edition of the Expomueble Guadalajara fair, what occured between 18 and 21 February. The organization of Movelsul was present with an institutional stand at the mexican fair, where they could welcome all the professional who were interested to know better about the brazilian event.

The Expomueble Guadalajara is in its 34th edition and is considered the most important fair for the furniture sector in Mexico. More than 500 exhibitors and 12.000 trade visitors could check the new products to the sector in an area of 52.000 m² of exhibition - almost the same measure of Movelsul, which has 54.000 m².

Mexico has the second largest economy and population in Latin America. Its furniture production is valued at USD 6.8 billion last year - the second largest in Latin America, behind only to Brazil. The furniture imports reached USD 2.8 billion last year, a 6.1% increase compared to 2013.

The Movelsul Brasil is promoted since 1977 by the Trade Union of Construction and Furniture of Bento Gonçalves, in Rio Grande do Sul - state located in South Brazil.The next edition will happen from 14 to 18 March 2016 in the above mentioned city.
