Brazilian furniture industry is hireing more

The Brazilian furniture industry hired more in the two first months of 2009 than the same period of 2008. In accordance with the Brazilian research Industrial (February) of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), divulged on April 7th, the high in the segment was of 1,4%, above general average of the transformation industry, that used 0,9% less people in January and February of 2009.

The industry of furniture also presented growth in February of this year, in front of the numbers of the same month of 2008 - 1,2% more. In the comparison with January, however, there was a fall (1,4%). With regard to the results of the transformation industry in general, February represented the fourth month of retraction. "The definitive overcoming of the difficulties will only occur when of retaken of the great economies and the commerce mundial", affirmed the executive manager of Economic policy of the CNI, Flávio Castello Branco.
