IAFP recognizes Nissin Furniture Crafters as the "International Excellent Furniture Company of 2007"

Excellent skills and collaboration with local traditional manufacturers

 The IAFP recognized Nissin Furniture Crafters Co., Ltd.(president,Hitoshi Kitamura) as the International Excellent Furniture Company 2007.The IAFP members gathered at imm cologne held this January and passed a resolution in selecting the recipient. At the assembly meeting, the members from the U.S., Germany, the U.K., France, Australia, Brazil, Dubai, Mexico, India, China, Korea, and Taiwan signed a testimonial.

 The reason Nissin was awarded the prize was written in the English testiomonial:1)since its foundation in 1946 in Takayama city - Japan`s traditional wood products - Nissin has produced sophisticated products utilizing excellent skills; and 2)having collaborated with traditional consumer goods manufacturers in Gifu Prefecture, Nissin has established a track record as a leading Japanese furniture exporter as shown by its fifth consecutive participation in MAISON & OBJET in Paris.
